Arguably the most innovative of Society competitions.

A simple but clever idea, that allows the Society to recognise and

celebrate the person and shot that came to rest nearest the pin,

as a result of a tee shot.

A ball of household string and a pair of scissors are used to

identify the winning shot.

The resulting length of string is then measured and ‘captured’ in this

resplendent frame . The winner is expected to hang the frame in a prominent area of his abode, for all and sundry to admire.
